![]() ![]() ![]() Despite charisma takes a -2 penalty, use that as your primary stat. Want to play an anti-magic dwarf? The "all magic users are crazies and when they cast spells I go crazy and crazy stuff happens?" Try a Spellscarred Oracle. There are many ways that you can roleplay this, especially with the variety of oracle curses out there. If you're not dead set on a cleric but still would like a divine caster, an oracle is an option. I vote you go cleric, dwarfs are built for it despite the hit to charisma. She's the first dwarf I've every played and she's so much fun. The sun domain will let you turn undead with the channel and gives awesome domain spells, but you could switch this out for the good domain (1/2 lvl bonus to attacks, skills or saves for 1 round (3+wis-mod) times a day) or another of Sarenrae's domains (can't remember off the top of my head). With the fire domain you get a firebolt spell (3+wis-mod) times a day and it allows you to conserve spells for healing or buffs. You can pick up feats for selective channeling allowing you choose who is healed rather than accidentally reviving/healing an enemy. Channeling doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity, and is boss at aoe the undead. Number of uses of channeling(3+cha mod) would be 5 a day if you pick the 19 wis 15 cha. ![]() When I play her most of the time I'm casting/channeling rather than hitting with my scimitar(preferred weapon of Sarenrae gives you Flame of the Dawnflower adds 2 fire dmg on a crit).Ĭhanneling is a 30ft radius spell/ability that you can either heal the living or hurt undead for 1d6 which increases as you level(2d6 lvl 3, 3d6 lvl 5 ect). She isn't stupid, infact quite wise and intuative, she just is slow to learn new ideas. You'd only get one skill point a level due to the low intelligence, but you'll get to channel and cast spells while wearing heavier armor.
